Recently, the School of Journalism and Communication held a keynote lecture on "From Mass Communication to Social Communication-China's Internet for 25 Years" in Room 229 of Ten Education. Tan Tian, a professor, senior reporter and postdoctoral coordinator of the School of Journalism and Communication of Jinan University was invited to be the keynote speaker. Jiao Zhongming, dean of the School of Journalism and Communication of our school, Qiu Chang, deputy dean, teachers and students from the teaching and research room of journalism and advertising attended the lecture.
Tan Tian analyzed the course of mass communication to social communication through case studies from the four aspects of "Internet age", "knowledge of new media", "social communication" and "everything is media, intelligent communication". It shows how the Internet has changed people's lifestyles, learning styles, working styles, and socializing styles. During the interactive session, Tan Tian had an in-depth exchange with the teachers and students present. He hoped that the teachers and students could innovate their thinking methods and improve their ability to distinguish the authenticity of information.
